Industry gathers again to support regional industry event

Healdsburg, Calif., December 7^th, 2015 – The 4^thAnnual North Coast Wine Industry Expo (WIN Expo) which took place on December 4^th at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds, was a great success again, solidifying it as a “must attend” business event for the North Coast Wine Industry. It remains the 2^nd largest wine industry trade show & conference in North America.

This year’s gathering was once again well supported by the region bringing together industry professionals, along with approximately 300 exhibitors, for a day of networking, conversation, and collaboration about the north coast wine industry.

Attendance was also up for the Expo’s 2015 conference which included four educational sessions that focused on efficiencies in wine production, vineyard operations, financial forecasting, and marketing technology. There was a full crowd for the lead session, State of the North Coast Wine Industry that featured Dr. Damien Wilson, Hammel Family Chair of the SSU Wine Business Institute.

Remaining true to WIN’s objective of continual improvement, many aspects of this year’s event were upgraded, beginning with registration & check in services, improved signage & décor, to an enhanced audio visual experience in the educational sessions.

“Despite being in our 4^th year, we continue to be humbled by the outpouring of support that we receive from the local industry,” said George Christie, President of Wine Industry Network. “Even with the rain, which we obviously would like to see more of, the turn-out surpassed expectations. With the quality of the attendees and exhibitors improving each year, the WIN Expo has quickly become an end-of-year tradition for the North Coast Wine Industry.”
