Stockton CA, Western Square Industries announced today that Sow Texas who is owned by Savannah Pender has entered into an agreement with Western Square Industries. Savannah and her company will transition and take over from Dan Humphries, Dan Humphries Sales Company this Spring. “We are extremely fortunate to have found the ideal solution to continue our growth in this key location” said David Bowyer, Chief Executive Officer, for Western Square. Bowyer also said that Dan Humphries has done an incredible job for us for 17 years, and we wish him happiness in his upcoming retirement. He will be missed for his friendship and exceptional dedication in all that he does.
Savannah Pender studied bioenvironmental sciences at Texas A&M University, Savannah was bitten by the wine bug. Since then, she has gained winemaking experience working in cellars across Texas and studying winemaking through the UC Davis certificate program. Now she is passionate about sharing the knowledge and experiences she gained to pour back into the industry she loves. This is what led her to establish Sow Texas Winery Consulting in 2021. Savannah is excited to broaden her knowledge of distilling and brewing as she covers 10 states with Western Square from Texas all the way up to Kentucky and over to New Mexico. Working for a major distributor in a high-end portfolio Savannah developed a passion for fine spirits and is excited to foray into the world of craft beer. She looks forward to meeting people across the beverage industry who take pride in their crafts and helping them utilize products from Western Square Industries.
