Reflecting on 2020 harvest as it comes to an end, there's no doubt that this has been one of the most challenging seasons - especially for wineries impacted by the wildfires here on the West Coast. We've now been through 80+ harvests together, and being in the industry since 1933 has taught us that the wine community is strong and resilient. Our relationship with Willmes is not only our oldest wine equipment relationship, but in fact our first and oldest of all vendor relationships. Q: What parts should I have on-hand at my winery for my Armbruster Rotovib Destemmer?
A: We highly recommend keeping an extra limit switch. This is the small yellow switch which allows the machine to operate when it is pressed down by the hood. These tend to be the single part we replace the most. We also recommend keeping some extra potentiometer knobs on hand as well, as these get knocked off throughout harvest.
