Strengthening Technical Expertise and Customer Partnerships 

FAIRFIELD, Calif., (Dec. 26, 2025) — Encore Glass, a family-owned wine bottle supplier serving wineries across North America, has promoted Athena Zimlich from Technical Service Representative to Technical Account Manager.

In this expanded, hybrid role, Athena will continue supporting Encore’s Quality and Technical Services efforts while joining the Sales team to support existing customers and contribute to new business development. The position strengthens Encore’s customer service model by pairing deep technical expertise with commercial support.

Athena joined Encore Glass in 2018 and brings more than 14 years of wine industry experience. Her career began in harvest lab work and advanced to bottling supervisor roles overseeing multiple lines and large production teams. At Encore, she supports bottling operations across California’s Central Valley and Central Coast, helping customers maintain production continuity, quality standards, and on-time bottling schedules.

Known for her responsiveness and customer-first approach, Athena frequently supports customers on short notice, travels extensively to address line issues, and steps in outside regular hours when needed. Her ability to translate technical insight into clear, practical solutions has strengthened customer relationships and supported long-term growth.

Athena holds certifications in Home Winemaking Microbiology from UC Davis and Fracture Analysis from American Glass Research. Her leadership style centers on accountability, integrity, and respect across every level of the supply chain.

As Technical Account Manager, Athena will play a key role in aligning technical support with sales strategy, reinforcing Encore Glass’s commitment to dependable service, operational excellence, and long-term customer partnerships.
